Light Column

 ​​A symbiosis of architecture and art. 

 

These three-meter high light columns, made of aluminum which I have slit with the help of the hand circular saw are called "Light Columns". They are very individually applicable. From the use in the entrance area, over the use as a ceiling light or as indirect living room lighting to the use in the garden or on the balcony.

Through custom made stencils and other items, I was able to keep my style on the columns as well. What optically and haptically almost acts like a print, is paint which I have applied as in my paintings in several layers and then removed again with various objects. Through the most modern paint technology, I achieve a virtually completely light-absorbing very smooth and matte surface structure, which appears extremely light and is still very perceptible.
